Samsung Reportedly Intends to Equip 16GB RAM on Galaxy S26 Ultra

July 7, 2025

We are halfway to seeing the next Galaxy S26 series, but the circulation of rumors and tipsters about it is increasing day by day. This is the peak week for the latest leaks by the various leakers. Now, the new source claims that the company will offer 16GB of RAM on the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone. The same source had predicted it last time for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but that never happened on any of the storage options. This time, all the sources are more confident than before about the adoption of 16GB of RAM.

For Chinese smartphones, it is not a big deal as all the major companies have shifted to bigger RAMs. For Galaxy users, it could be a big deal and more power to their flagship phones. Samsung will start this journey with Galaxy Z Fold 7, which might come with 16 GB of RAM on its 512GB & 1TB storage options.

Galaxy S26 Ultra RAM & Processor

The next foldable phone will be launched this week, so it will all come to light. Now, coming to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the company could launch all its variants with 16GB of RAM. It will not be the same for the regular Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Edge devices. The non-ultra phones will carry 12GB of RAM in all the variants.

Apart from RAM, Samsung will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chipset inside the S26 Ultra. The main concern for the users is the return of the Exynos processor on other models. The company reportedly will unveil its next flagship phones in January next year.
