Samsung Released July Security Update for Galaxy S25

The Galaxy S25 series has become the first flagship model to receive Samsung’s latest July 2025 security update. The update is now rolling out in South Korea, and at the time of writing this article, it could reach other major regions. The company has added new S938NKSS5AYF6 firmware to the devices with a 537MB file size. The patch is here to improve the security of the device and to improve the overall user experience.

Galaxy S25 July Update

A few days ago, Samsung disclosed that in a July firmware, it has taken care of 1 critical issue and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in its code. Some of those fixed errors are from Google, and the other were found in a One UI code.

To install the July security patch on your Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, go to Settings and then head to the Software Update section. Here, you can check for any pending software updates to download and install them.
