Samsung is testing One UI 8 beta firmware on its flagship smartphones, and in the next few months, we can see the stable version of it. The company is also testing the new software on its other Galaxy phones, including the Galaxy A56. Last year’s mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A55, has been spotted with the upcoming One UI 8 software on the Geekbench page. It shows, Samsung is now testing Android 16-based One UI 8 firmware for the device. The page disclosed the performance of the devices with the new Android version.
Galaxy A55 with the new software has achieved a 1150 score in single-core and a 3417 score in multi-core. It is an early testing process for the phone, so in the next few testing builds, the Galaxy A55 may show improved numbers.
Galaxy A35 & Galaxy A55 could receive stable Android 16 software update in October or November this year. The software will bring enhanced security, better animation speed, tweaked settings, and more Galaxy AI functions.
