It’s not just the flagship Galaxy S25 & Galaxy S24 that are receiving a new July 2025 security update. The older high-end devices are also now getting their due patch. Galaxy Z Flip 6 & Fold 6 are the new handsets in the list to get July 2025 security updates in the home country. Samsung seeds improved software code to the devices by taking care of known bugs. The company confirms to squash more than 22 vulnerabilities in the code to secure your privacy and stop the data leakage.
The new version comes with the F741NKSS2BYFC code in a 400MB file size for Flip 6. The other Fold 6 gets firmware number F956NKSS2BYFC with the same file size. The changelog for both gadgets is the same and doesn’t carry too much weight.
Samsung has announced a One UI 8 beta testing program for more Galaxy devices, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 & Fold 6 may be in the queue. The major Android 16 update for these foldables may come in the next few months with Galaxy AI functions.
