Galaxy Watch 5 Series Spotted with Next Beta Update

After Galaxy Watch 7 & Watch Ultra, Samsung is preparing One UI 8 Watch software for the previous smartwatches. In the latest finding of firmware update in the test server, one more Samsung smartwatch has been spotted with the upcoming major version. After Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro have been found with the One UI 8 Watch beta software. The discovery was made by famous Twitter tipster Tarun Vats and revealed the availability of the beta version.

The newly spotted firmware for Galaxy Watch 5 is R905NKOU1CYCD, and the Watch 5 Pro firmware is R925NKOU1CYCD. It is spotted for the South Korean variant, and as per the sources, the beta will only start in the US & South Korea.

The beta testing program, like every year, will not open in the UK, Germany, India, and other countries, but it will be limited to only these two countries. It is unclear when One UI 8 Watch will open for previous watches. Currently, the Galaxy Watch 7 series is being tested on the first beta version, and the next version might be released this week or next week.

Galaxy Watch 4 will not join the beta program, but it will get a stable version. In a massive file of code, Samsung will launch four new health features, Galaxy AI tools like Now brief, Google Gemini, etc, and some additional changes. Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic & Watch Ultra 2025 edition are running on new software.
