Galaxy S26 would See Battery Boost, Thanks to New Tech

July 3, 2025

Samsung users are always concerned about the battery life on their flagship phones. On the Ultra variant, you will get a moderate battery life, but on the regular and Plus variants, you have to rely on your charger. Now, Samsung is aware of this issue, and that’s why the company is thinking of improving battery life on all these premium models. To increase the power of the Galaxy S26, instead of giving a bigger battery, Samsung could replace it with new technology. You heard right, according to the new leak, it may use SUS CAN casing for the battery.

In this new SUS CAN casing, the company uses stainless steel casing instead of aluminium casing, which has many benefits. It reduces the heat in heavy tasks, improves multitasking, and, more importantly, it increases battery performance. It also has other benefits, but these are worth mentioning.

The report highlights Samsung will use it on all its premium upcoming smartphones in 2026, and Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ & Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the first to receive it.

Galaxy S26 Battery Power

With the Galaxy S26 series, the company might bring back the Exynos chipset, which has always had issues with battery and heating. If Samsung uses a SUS CAN-based battery, then this picture may change.

These are the early words from rumors, and we should always wait for concrete proof. The next Galaxy S26 phones will be released in January 2026 in the special Galaxy Unpacked event.
