Galaxy M is always Samsung’s top-selling smartphone lineup in India, especially the Galaxy M30+ series. The last Galaxy M35 was one of the best-selling devices in the country, so the company has launched its next version today. Galaxy M36 will carry the legacy of this series with the new camera setup and Galaxy AI functions. In a budget category, Samsung has brought plenty of Galaxy AI tools to several departments. The Gemini Live & Circle to Search tools from Google have also been placed on the Galaxy M36.
It sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an AMOLED screen. Samsung claims the protection glass on the phone is four times better than the Galaxy M35. The only drawback here is its Exynos 1380 chipset, where the predecessor uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Although it uses an Exynos chip, the company has enhanced its speed and provided bigger vapor cooling. In a storage, you can choose from 6GB or 8GB RAM with a 128GB base variant.

It has a 50MP triple camera and a 13MP front camera with improved nightography mode. With the help of additional AI features, you can enhance the picture quality of the saved images, such as Object Eraser, Image Clipper, Edit Suggestion, and AI depth Map. It sports an OIS camera and 4K video recording with the back camera. Out of the box, it will run on One UI 7 software and is eligible for the next One UI 8 version. In India, it is priced at Rs. 16499 for the base model.
