Samsung has officially ended the One UI 8 Watch beta testing program for Galaxy Watch Ultra in the US. It is now releasing a stable One UI 8 Watch version for users in the country. The new version L705USQU1BYFE is now rolling out for the smartwatch. The file size is quite large, so you have to install a nearly 2GB file on your device. It still relies on the May 2025 security patch, though comes with all the new features and changes.
The new Samsung Health features Bedtime Guidance, Running Coach, and remaining tools are part of the new watch software. Apart from that, Google’s Gemini AI assistant tool has been installed on the Watch Ultra to guide you in many ways. You can open the app, call someone, check current weather, set a timer or reminder, start a workout, or message someone with the help of Google Gemini tool.

Samsung has also introduced its home-grown Now Brief and Now Bar Galaxy AI tools on the smartwatch. Both are essential features and inherited from the Galaxy Watch 8 series, including the new watch faces. Samsung has made crucial changes to the software settings by improving day-to-day performance. In the next few days or weeks, the update will be available for previous Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 5 & Watch 6 gadgets.
