In May this year, Galaxy A73 received a major One UI 7 software update. In a new file, Samsung introduced a couple of new features by improving the overall quality of the device. The mid-range smartphone in all countries has received this version. Now, all eyes of users are on the next massive Android 16-based One UI 8 update. Most users are now asking Will Galaxy A73 get the One UI 8 update this year? The answer is yes, it is eligible to get one more major One UI update.

It supports four Android software updates, and it has received three of them. After this version, it will not be eligible for any other Android updates, although it will get monthly security patches. Samsung could roll out a stable update for it in September or October this year. It is not a part of the beta testing program and will be promoted with the stable version.
The new software includes more Galaxy AI tools, improved battery performance, and security features. In the market, stable One UI 8 firmware is running on Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 foldables. The Galaxy S25 series is now in the beta testing program, and it will also soon grab a stable version this month.
