Samsung has started the One UI 8 Watch beta testing program in the US for supported Galaxy Watches. This month, the company announced to opening of a beta testing program for its next One UI Watch version, which will bring some new features from the company itself and Google. It is now open in the US for Galaxy Watch 7 & Watch Ultra, and soon it will come to Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, Watch 6, and Watch 6 Classic. This year, they have excluded Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic from the beta program.
To participate in the beta program, users have to open the Samsung Members app and tap the Watch 8 Beta poster. After that, the page will redirect you to the sign-up page. You have to fill up the enrollment form, and later you will be eligible to install the new version on your smartwatch. If you have already participated in the One UI 8 Beta program for your smartphone, then you should opt out of the watch beta. Both of your devices will be running on early and unstable software, so it is better to step out of either one of them.

The new One UI 8 software has brought Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load, Running Coach, and Antioxidant Index health functions. It will also get the Now Brief AI tool, Google Gemini Live, and other optimized apps. Samsung and Google both have promised to improve the minimum 10% battery life with the new firmware. The version will come to the Galaxy Watch 4 series, Galaxy Watch FE, and all the later watches. It will first come pre-installed on the Galaxy Watch 8 series, and later, other users can have it.
